Thank you so much for such a fun session. I know you had to deal with the freezing morning, but it was well worth it! I feel so honored to be given the opportunity to make your family portrait complete.
I picked up Ashley & took her to meet her soon-to-be husband, Austin, at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art on Kansas State University's campus. They were both very anxious to have their first look together before the wedding ceremony. It had been pouring rain that week, and sprinkles on and off that morning. Ashley was not upset or nervous about the weather at all-not like any other bride would be! The sun peaked through the clouds during the First Look which made the setting perfect (I think it was Ashley's positive attitude that caused the sun to come out!)!
Their day was filled with lots of laughs, smiles, (happy) tears and most of all, love. Not only did two people become husband and wife, but a complete family. Austin made beautiful vows not only to Ashley, but her daughter Savannah, as well. There wasn't a dry eye listening to him read those words! The night ended with a huge surprise for the groom! Ashley surprised Austin with a guest visit from Willie the Wildcat at their reception! What?!
Congratulations to you again, and for choosing me to capture your special moments!
